Las Vegas, Nevada is one of my favorite places. It’s also one of the best cities to celebrate your birthday or other special occasions. Even if you’re not a gambler, Vegas should be on your USA Bucket List. If you’re wondering what to do in Vegas besides gamble, this article is for you! From art and music to museums to mob tours, Broadway shows to circus acts, there’s plenty to do in sin city. You’re also close enough to take a day trip to Zion National Park, The Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley, Antelope Canyon, Valley of Fire State Park, Lake Mead, and other natural wonders.
Vegas is also one of the most wheelchair-accessible cities in the United States, both on and off the strip. There’s plenty to do no matter what your mobility level. For every activity I recommend below, I’ll note if it’s accessible, though most are.
There’s no need to stick to gambling, (unless you want to.) So, without further ado, let’s get to the fabulous things to do in Vegas other than gamble.
1. Visit Downtown Vegas for The Freemont Street Experience
Topping my list of Las Vegas activities is one of the best free things to do in Vegas, visit Fremont Street for the incredible overhead light show and free nightly live music.
Live music starts at 6 pm. Viva Vision, the world’s largest digital display runs every hour from 6 pm to 2 am.
Adventurous types can try their hand at Slotzilla, the overhead, 11-story high zipline.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. Even the zipline. I also recommend this wheelchair-accessible tour of Freemont Street.
2. Go Shopping At The Grand Canal Shoppes
The Grand Canal Shoppes located next to the Venetian Hotel and Casino are a shopper’s paradise. With indoor canals winding through the more than 140 shops and eateries, this mall is truly a site to behold. And I’m a Jersey girl with a very high standard for malls.

3. Take a Helicopter Flight Over Grand Canyon National Park
Soar over the Grand Canyon for the ultimate sightseeing experience. There are plenty of mind-blowing helicopter tours from Las Vegas. Wheelchair Accessible: Yes
4. Enjoy the View From The High Roller Observation Wheel
Enjoy a slow circle 550 feet above the Vegas strip with the High Roller Observation Wheel. See the city lit up at night with sweeping 360-degree views.
The wheel takes 30 minutes to complete a revolution. Cabins are temperature-controlled, spacious, and offer seating.

5. Visit Downtown Container Park
Downtown Container Park is an open-air shopping experience like no other. This outdoor mall offers everything from gourmet quick-service dining to award-winning cocktails at Oak & Ivy. There’s even an interactive playground for kids. Adults can relax while enjoying free concerts, movies, and more on the main stage.

6. Ride a Roller Coaster at New York, New York Hotel and Casino
Get your thrills on The Big Apple Coaster. This awesome New York, New York roller coaster travels over 67 mph with a 203-foot drop and 180-degree twist.
New York-New York Roller Coaster Prices: Tickets are $25.65 and you can reserve your Big Apple Coaster Ticket beforehand to avoid long wait times.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes, but usual coaster rules apply. Those with heart conditions, back and neck injuries, and other medical conditions are urged not to ride.
7. Check Out the Vegas Strip From The Stratosphere Observation Deck
The Strat is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. View the strip like never before from the 1,149-foot tall Strat observation deck. I like going at night when the dazzling lights of the strip make this an even more magical experience.

8. Take In Vegas History At the Neon Museum
Visit iconic neon signs from Las Vegas’s storied history. The Neon Museum collection chronicles changes and trends in sign design and technology through pieces ranging from the 1930s to the present day. It’s also one of the top spots in Vegas to take amazing Instagram shots.
It’s recommended you purchase tickets beforehand, particularly if you are visiting at night.

9. Take a Tour of The Mob Museum Las Vegas
The National Museum of Organized Crime & Law Enforcement offers a provocative look at organized crime history and its impact on American society. And if that’s too fancy for you, you can always visit their underground speakeasy and distillery.

10. Go Under the Sea at The Mandalay Bay Shark Reef Aquarium

11. See a Free Show at Circus Circus Adventuredome
Circus Circus is a throwback to a different time in Vegas. One of the oldest hotels on the strip, it still attracts a loyal fanbase. While I would not recommend staying here, it’s worth popping in to glimpse a bit of Vegas history and check out the incredible aerial acts that take place daily in the Adventuredome.
12. Eat at the Historic Las Vegas Peppermill
One of the best places to experience Las Vegas Nightlife, The Peppermill is an old-school Las Vegas gem. Voted one of the must-see places by Casino Magazine, The Peppermill has been a Las Vegas institution since 1972. You can frequently see celebrities dining here after their big Vegas shows. The heaping portions and cool atmosphere make The Peppermill a favorite amongst those in the know.

Friday - Sunday: 7 am - 2 am

13. Get Married by Elvis at The Graceland Wedding Chapel Las Vegas
This next one isn’t for everyone, but if you and your partner have always had the dream of getting married by Elvis, then the Graceland Wedding Chapel is for you!
Established in 1939 it’s the oldest wedding chapel in Las Vegas. It’s also the first to hold an Elvis-themed ceremony. With musicians such as Jon Bon Jovi, Aaron Neville, and Billy Ray Cyrus tying the knot here, it’s also a celebrity favorite.

14. Get a Decadent Meal at a Las Vegas Buffet
Most Vegas hotels offer a decadent buffet of foods from around the world, a veritable feast of flavors accompanied by bottomless mimosas. But not all buffets are created equal and you definitely get what you pay for.

15. Try Your Hand at an Escape Room
You may have tried an escape room before, but have you tried a high-end, private, Vegas escape room with a movie-like set design? Try the most immersive Las Vegas escape room experience at Lost Games. Lost Games offers both family-friendly and adult escape rooms as well as games like The Floor is Lava.
Wheelchair Accessible: Their room “Chapter 1: The Doctor’s Secret” is suitable for guests in wheelchairs. “Chapter 2: Playtime” is not wheelchair accessible and requires guests to exit through a smaller, somewhat confined area not suitable for a wheelchair.
16. Test Your Adventurous Side With Tandem Sky Diving
I’ve never had the guts to do it, but I know plenty of people who have and rave about it. Vegas is a skydiving paradise, with tons of companies offering tandem skydiving experiences.
I recommend the highly-rated Go Jump Las Vegas.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes! As long as you have your doctor’s approval, wheelchair users including paraplegics and quadriplegics are able to tandem skydive. The only requirement is that you weigh under 250 lbs.
17. Sample Some Drinks at Lost Spirits Distillery Las Vegas
Dubbed “the Disneyland of liquor” Lost Spirits Distillery is a boozy rum sampling experience like no other. Guest can reserve tickets for day drinking with a magic show or a nighttime experience complete with cirque-style performances in a full theater setting. Shows take place at 2 pm, 7 pm, and 9 pm.

18. Learn to Shoot a Gun at Battlefield Las Vegas
This ultimate shooting experience includes free Humvee pickup and over 1,000 weapons to choose from. From handguns to pistols, automatic rifles to submachine guns and belt-feds, Battlefield Las Vegas has it all.

Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. Per their website, the only health condition that precludes you from shooting is if you are pregnant or nursing.
19. Take A Trip to The Wild Side at Lion Habitat Ranch
Lion Habitat Ranch is a big cat sanctuary Las Vegas style. Located minutes from the strip in Henderson, Nevada, The Lion Habitat Ranch has been providing care to lions in need since 1989. They also strive to protect and donate to wild lion habitats in Africa. They make regular donations to The Giraffe Conservation Foundation, Campaign Against Canned Hunting, and SanWild.
General admission is $25 (free during your birthday month with proof of ID)

20. Visit the Hoover Dam Bridge
The Hoover Dam is about 30 minutes outside Vegas, making it an extremely popular day trip.
If you’re not in the mood for a structured tour, you can drive yourself to The Hoover Dam. A self-guided tour costs just $10 and allows you to immerse yourself in the history of the dam as you walk through narrated exhibits. Enjoy 360-degree views of the Dam, Lake Mead, Colorado River, and Hoover Bypass Bridge from the observation deck. Visitors can also cross the Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge that spans the Colorado River connecting Nevada and Arizona. Be sure to snap your picture straddling the state line as you hear dads making the standard dad joke, “would you look at that dam bridge?”
Wheelchair Accessible: The actual Dam and exhibits are wheelchair accessible. This awesome Hoover Dam tour is also wheelchair accessible.
21. Get Your Thrills at The Fly Linq Zipline
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know I have a terrible relationship with zip lines stemming from a zip line accident in Belize. But Fly Linq is a considerably safer experience. If only because you don’t use your gloved hand as a brake. (What was I thinking?!?)
At Fly Linq riders launch from a 12-story tower and soar 1,121 feet from Las Vegas Boulevard, down The LINQ Promenade, and finish at the High Roller reaching speeds up to 35 mph. Click Fly Linq Zipline for tickets.
Wheelchair Accessible: No. But the Slotzilla zip line at Fremont Street is accessible to guests with disabilities.
22. Enjoy a Las Vegas Pool Party
One of the most popular things to do during the day in Vegas is to attend a Las Vegas pool party. Pool clubs in Vegas are the new hot attraction. There are multiple popular pool parties featuring some of the top DJs in the world. Get your drink on while cooling off in a swanky hotel pool.
The top Las Vegas Pool parties are Encore Beach Club Las Vegas, Venus Pool Lounge at Caesars Palace, sports-themed Stadium Swim Las Vegas at Circa, and Wet Republic at the MGM Grand.
Wheelchair Accessible: All the major Las Vegas Hotel pools are ADA-compliant and provide lifts to access the pools. Word of warning, these parties are incredibly popular and can get crowded. Staff are available to assist guests with disabilities.
23. Relax On Mississippi Paddle Boat Cruises
Take a cool ride on a Mississippi Paddle Boat through Lake Mead. Take photos of the incredible panoramic views of Fortification Hill (an extinct volcano), the Arizona Paint Pots and their breathtaking colors, and the magnificent Hoover Dam.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. The Desert Princess cruise is ADA-compliant.
24. Hit Some Balls at Skills at Topgolf
Test your driving skills in this indoor golf paradise. Relax in temperature-controlled driving bays while other golfers swelter under the Las Vegas heat. Topgolf is fun for all skill levels. When you’re done hitting balls you can relax in their sports bar and restaurant.

25. See The Best of Vegas With Hop On Hop Off Las Vegas
I’m a big fan of Big Bus tours Hop On Hop off buses. Enjoy the sites along the strip and Downtown Las Vegas from the comfort of a temperature-controlled bus. Or ride up top and feel the wind in your hair. Passes are available for both day and night tours and come in one through three-day passes. Click Big Bus Tours for tickets.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. Though wheelchair-accessible busses are limited. Big Bus Tours recommends contacting them 48 hours before your intended trip to ensure one of its wheelchair-accessible fleets is available. Guests with mobility impairments are warned not to use the top deck of the bus.
26. Snap Some Silly Selfies at Madame Tussauds
While not unique to Vegas, Madame Tussauds is a great spot to snap hilarious photos with your favorite wax celebrities. I had a fabulous time with my brother. (And a few drinks. See above.)

27. Enjoy the Beautiful Bellagio Water Show
One of the most iconic sites in Las Vegas is the Bellagio Fountain. It’s a must-see for any tourist coming to Vegas. The dazzling Bellagio Fountains appear to dance along with the music creating a romantic spectacle for all to enjoy.
The Bellagio fountain schedule is as follows: Monday through Friday every 30 minutes from 3 pm to 8 pm and every 15 minutes from 8 pm to midnight. On Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays the Bellagio water showtimes are every 30 minutes from noon to 8 pm and every 15 minutes from 8 pm to midnight.

28. Laugh Your Butt Off at A Comedy Show
Las Vegas is home to some of the best comedy clubs in the country, attracting a myriad of famous stand-up comics.
Some of the top clubs in Las Vegas are Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club At The MGM Grand, Laugh Factory Comedy Club At Tropicana Resort and Casino, Las Vegas Live Comedy Club at V Theater Planet Hollywood, and The Comedy Cellar at Rio Las Vegas.

29. Get Wowed by Cirque du Soleil Las Vegas
These days it seems like every major hotel in Las Vegas has a Cirque du Soleil show. And for good reason, they’re incredible! I’ve seen 5 different Cirque shows over the years I’ve been coming to Vegas and each was amazing. If you’re seeing your first Cirque show I recommend “O” at the Bellagio. The stunning underwater performances are an incredible site to behold.

30. Drive a Bulldozer in Pahrump Valley
Indulge your childhood fantasy of operating heavy construction equipment at Dig This Heavy Equipment Playground. Dig, push and lift behind the controls of 15-foot excavators. Dig This offers kid digs, adult digs, and group digs.
Wheelchair Accessible: No.
31. Take a Day Trip to Zion National Park from Las Vegas
A day trip to Zion National Park is a super popular excursion from Las Vegas. The drive takes about 2 and a half hours from Las Vegas and is easy to do if you have your own rental car. If not, you can arrange a trip with a local tour company. The Zion National Park Day Tour from Vegas gives you 6 hours to explore the park.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. Also, if you are disabled you can get a free National Parks Access Pass giving you free entrance to any National Park.
32. Go Real Fast at Supercar Racetrack
Just 10 minutes from the strip Speed Vegas offers the racecar experience to drivers of every level. You can race exotic cars, go off-roading in 4-wheelers, or try your hand at Go-Kart racing in Vegas Superkarts.
Drive a Lamborghini Gallardo for $299, or take a Porsche Cayman GTS for $199. You can even try your skills with a Mclaren 570 GT4 for $449. There are more than 20 cars to choose from if you have the need for speed.
Wheelchair Accessible: If you can legally drive, you can drive at Speed Vegas.
33. Visit Nelson Landing Ghost Town
Nelson Landing Ghost Town is part of El Dorado Canyon. The oldest, richest, and most famous gold mine in the state of Nevada. Just 45 minutes from the strip Nelson Landing is perfect for historic mine tours, photo shoots, BBQ area rental, and wedding venues. This rustic setting gives you an idea of what Nevada was like during the gold rush.

Wheelchair Accessible: Yes, except for the mine tours. Though you should expect rough, sometimes uneven ground and gravel.
34. Get a Deal at North Premium Outlets
If shopping at Chanel on the strip is a little rich for your blood, why not look for some deals at North Premium Outlets? Las Vegas Premium Outlets North is a short 15-minute drive north of the strip and offers 540,000 square feet of shopping. The outlets offer everything from Versace and Prada to Forever 21 and Addidas. And I once snagged a killer deal on some luggage after the airline knocked a wheel off my precious Tumi bag. With over 280 stores, there’s something for everyone.

35. Mine for Gold at Eldorado Canyon
As mentioned above El Dorado Canyon is home to the oldest, richest mine in Nevada. And even though most of it has been unearthed, you still have better luck striking it rich here than at the roulette table. This is definitely one of the non-touristy things to do in Vegas.
Eldorado Mine tours last 70 minutes. The walking tour is about 1/4 mile long.
Inside the mine is a little breezy and cool, especially in the winter so be sure to bring a jacket.

36. Indulge Your Inner Kid By Go Karting Las Vegas Style
For the fastest indoor kart racing, Las Vegas has to offer, visit K1 Speed. Their European-style electric karts reach speeds up to 45 mph. Their indoor temperature-controlled facilities are perfect for those hot Vegas days.
Racers need to be at least 58 inches tall. You also need a membership to drive the track, unless you are with a group of 8 or more, making this an ideal activity for families, bachelor/ bachelorette parties, and other group trips to Vegas. You do not need a license to drive.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. All K1 Speed locations are wheelchair accessible.
36. Enjoy a Vegas Beer Tasting Tour
If you still haven’t gotten your alcohol fix, and who would? This is Vegas after all. Then you need to sign up for a tour of the bustling brewery district just north of The Strip. This Las Vegas Craft Beer Tour shows you around all the best local breweries while giving you a taste of some amazing craft beers.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. The brews Cruise and the breweries visited are ADA-Compliant.
37. See Boulder City Historic District
Boulder City Historic District is Nevada’s largest listing on the National Register of Historic Places. Comprised of 514 buildings, the area sits nearby the Hoover Dam. The town was originally designed by the US Bureau of Reclamation to support the construction of the Hoover Dam.
The area is 182 acres and comprised of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and American Crafstman. If architecture and history are your things, it’s a pretty neat area to check out in conjunction with your trip to the Hoover Dam.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. Streets are paved and easy to navigate.
38. Hunt Aliens on an Area 51 Tour
Area 51 has long been a favorite with alien lovers and conspiracy theorists. Travel to the most Top Secret Military Facility with this wheelchair-accessible Area 51 Day Tour from Las Vegas. Tours include lunch, hotel pick-up, and unlimited snacks. Tours depart Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 7 am and return at 5 pm.

39. Learn About Atomic Weapons History at The National Atomic Testing Museum
Get nerdy at the National Atomic Testing Museum, just 15 minutes from The Strip. Designated as a private National Museum in December 2012, the National Atomic Testing Museum is charged by Congress to preserve the history of and educate the public about the nation’s nuclear testing program. It was of particular interest to me, as my great uncle worked on The Manhattan Project. It’s a fascinating history lesson you can only get in Southern Nevada.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. The museum is ADA-Compliant.
40. Take a Venetian Gondola Ride
If you can’t make it to Venice, you can make it to the next best thing. Running through the Venetian Hotel’s Canal Shoppes are actual canals complete with gondolas and singing gondoliers. One of the top things to do in Las Vegas for couples, the rides are $34 per person and make an excellent opportunity for adorable couple photos.
I found it easy enough to step down into the gondola, but it does require a fair amount of balance.

41. Dance Your Heart Out at Club Omnia Vegas
I’m not much for the clubbing lifestyle or tiny tube dresses, but it seems to be rather popular with the kids and Bachelor/ Bachelorette parties. Regardless, I’ve been dragged to a number of clubs, and the opulent, classic design and modern technology of OMNIA Nightclub make it a real stand out.

42. Try Your Hand at a Vegas Scavenger Hunt
While other fools are hunting for a royal flush, you could be enjoying Downtown Las Vegas on an exciting scavenger hunt. See the old, new, historic, and quirky with Las Vegas Scavenger Hunt: The True Gem of Vegas. This is a great group activity.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. The hunt sticks to ADA-compliant properties in Fremont Street, Downtown Container Park, and Symphony Park.
43. Enjoy Mystic Falls Park at Sam’s Town
If you’re Downtown be sure to check out one of the best free shows in Vegas. A roaring waterfall is paired with chirping birds in live trees and a beautiful skylight 10 stories overhead. You can even get a nice cold drink at the Ram’s Head Bar while taking in the Mystic Falls Laser Light Show.
Shows take place at 6 pm, 8 pm, and 10 pm Monday through Thursday and 4 pm, 6 pm, 8 pm, and 10 pm From Friday through Sunday.

44. See a Volcanic Eruption at The Mirage Volcano Show
Another great free show in Las Vegas is the Mirage Volcano show. Right out front of the Mirage Hotel you can witness massive lava explosions and fireballs shoot out of a giant volcano. The Mirage Volcano showtimes are as follows 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm, and 11 pm Monday through Sunday.

45. Your Heart Will Go On at The Titanic Exhibition
At the Luxor Hotel and Casino, The Titanic Exhibition showcases more than 350 artifacts recovered from the wreck site of the Titanic. The 25,000-square-foot exhibition includes unopened champagne with 1900 vintage, luggage, china, floor tiles, and other ship items along with a 15-ton piece of the ship’s hull and a full-scale re-creation of the Grand Staircase and outer Promenade Deck.

46. Snap Your Photo Next to The Iconic Welcome to Vegas Sign
Just south of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino stands the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. If you don’t have a selfie with this sign, have you even been to Vegas?
It’s best to take a taxi or rideshare to the sign as parking can be difficult. Go early in the day if you wish to avoid the crowds and have time to snap the perfect Instagram shot.

47. Get Your Chocolate Fix at M&M World Las Vegas
True story, I’m allergic to chocolate. But it’s hard to ignore the popularity of this colorful, fun 28,000-square-foot monument to tiny hard-shelled chocolates. Guests can create their own one-of-a-kind customized candies in 16 different colors.

48. Take A Las Vegas Street Art Tour

49. Get Creepy at Zak Bagans Haunted Museum
Another popular Downtown Las Vegas attraction, Zak Bagans The Haunted Museum offers guests the chance to experience the spine-chilling spirit world. Featuring frightening objects like the Dybbuk Box that inspired the movie The Possession, Dr. Jack Kevorkian’s VW Death Van that was used in ending the lives of terminally ill patients, and Michael Jackson’s Propofol chair. This place is beyond creepy.

I’ve already mentioned the popularity of the Vegas pool party. Las Vegas has taken the pool to new levels with its nighttime pool parties. DJs play underground house music, hip-hop, EDM and top 40 music from 9 pm to 4 am. So, even if pool parties aren’t your thing at least this might inform your choice when faced with booking that pool-facing room.
Some of the most popular nighttime Vegas pool parties are The Wynn’s XS Nightswim, Encore Beach Club at Night, and Drai’s Nightsplash.

Another romantic thing to do in Vegas for couples is the Eiffel Tower attraction, which allows guests to have a sweeping view of the Las Vegas skyline. Located 46 stories up, this view is a perfect way to see the city.

I love classic cars. I also love a great deal. The Shelby Heritage Center is free to the public, making it a great option for what to do in Vegas besides gambling.

The 14,000-square-foot Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are one of my favorite free things to do in Las Vegas. Located in the center of the Bellagio Hotel, this attraction is a must-see. When you’re done checking out the fabulous Bellagio fountains show, come take a look inside.
The most talented horticulture and engineering teams in the world transform this vast Bellagio Botanical Garden space into a seasonal floral spectacle full of sights, sounds, scents, and vibrant colors. My favorite is their Chinese New Year display.

I’ve snagged tickets to Carrot Top (a GREAT, HILARIOUS show), Penn & Teller, and several Cirque du Soleil shows. But you can find everything from comedy to magic, cirque to showgirls, and other unique things to do in Las Vegas at their convenient booths located right on the strip.
Pro-tip, get in line early (before 9 am) as the best tickets go fast. You can also add up to half off your check by purchasing discounts to the finest Vegas restaurants and buffets.

75. Visit Wild West Ghost Town Las Vegas
If you’re interested in Wild West history then this is for you. Ghost Town Wild West Adventures Day Trips take you through old ghost towns, exploring ancient legends. The tour includes a stop at the Hoover Dam, Chloride Ghost Town, Oatman, Arizona, and Eldorado Canyon. You’ll get picked up at your hotel and journey down Route 66, enjoy a deli-style lunch, and check out that picturesque Mohave Desert landscape.

76. Indulge Your Inner Thrill Seeker at Nelson’s Landing Cliff Jumping
Thrill seekers will love this 30-foot jump into the refreshing Colorado River. Nelson’s Landing is a beautiful cove located on the Colorado River between Lake Mead and Lake Mohave. It’s also a great spot to take your dog swimming if you’ve brought your fur baby on vacation.

Another popular shopping area and people-watching space in Vegas is the Linq Promenade. With tons of shops and restaurants, it’s a great place to grab a bite to eat.

78. Buy a Yard of Margarita
These adult Slurpees have evolved to epic proportions. You can literally buy a drink so large it requires you strap it to your neck to hold. Each hotel has its own novelty cups, my favorites being Paris Las Vegas and the Rio Hotel and Casino. Choose from margaritas, piña coladas, and other icy cold boozy refreshments.
79. Ride the Thrill Rides at the Top of the Stratosphere
Experience the ultimate adrenaline rush at the top of the Strat 1,000 feet above the Las Vegas Strip. Shoot straight up in the air at 45 mph on the Big Shot, Spin at 3 Gs while dangling from the Strat Skypod on Insanity, and take a memorable roller coaster ride like nothing you’ve ever experienced as you teeter-totter over the edge of Skypod from 866 feet in the air on X-Scream.
I’ve done each of these rides except for X-Scream, which scared the hell out of me. Dress warm as it can get chilly that high up (it was literally snowing when I went.) Rides operate Sunday through Saturday from 12 pm to 10 pm.

80. Relax in a Cabana by the Pool
All major Vegas Hotels are set up with pools and poolside cabanas. It’s the perfect place to beat the heat and hang out in the shade while partying by the pool. Though rentals are usually a few hundred dollars, making this a good activity for groups.

81. Visit Pawn Stars
One of the most iconic things to do in Vegas other than gamble is to visit the world-famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop from TVs Pawn Stars. See Rick and the gang, unload those valuables you have sitting around, or check out some amazing collectibles at the most famous pawn shop in Las Vegas. Located a short ride north of the strip.

82. Admire the Variety of Vegas Hotels on a Strip Walking Tour
From Egypt to France, Italy to Hollywood, the strip is full of stunning buildings set up to look like other famous buildings. It’s really quite remarkable. Join an exciting walking tour of the Vegas Strip. Be sure not to miss a thing with this great guide.

83. Play the Arcade at New York New York

One of my favorite non-gambling things to do is hang out by the pool. The Mandalay Bay tide pool is truly a site to behold. One of my favorite Las Vegas pools, Mandalay Bay even has a lazy river where guests can ride on tubes around this impressive pool.

85. Check Out First Friday
First Friday is a local Vegas event celebrating local art, music, and makers. It celebrates community and creativity. 86. Race a Car at The Richard Petty Driving Experience
NASCAR fans will love this opportunity to drive a real NASCAR at the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Drivers get full guided instruction before hitting the track and getting up to 48 minutes of Track Time. Pass slower cars as you whip around the track with instruction from a 2-way in-car radio.
Wheelchair Accessible: Being a NASCAR, there are no doors. Drivers must have the ability to climb through the window. Passengers must not exceed 300 lbs and be a minimum of 5 ft tall. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license.
87. Cool off at The Minus5 Ice Experience
Las Vegas can be hot as hell. As I’m writing this it is currently a delightful 113 degrees in Las Vegas. Cool off at the Minus5 Ice Experience. Everything inside this super cool bar is made of ice, even the glasses. Once you choose your experience you will be outfitted with gloves and a parka before being transported to a magical ice wonderland. Ice sculptures decorate the themed rooms offering a truly unique experience.

88. Cheer for Your Favorite Knight at the Tournament of Kings
Journey back to Medieval times at Tournament of King’s dinner and show. Cheer for your favorite knight in a jousting competition at this 900-seat theater in the round. Packages start at $42.

Stripper 101 is located in the V Theater at Planet Hollywood. The class is 75 minutes long and there are 8 classes offered throughout the day from 10:30 am to 9 pm.

92. Ride a Roller Coaster at Adventuredome
I love a good thrill ride and if you do too, then you must check out the rides at Circus Circus Adventuredome. Ride their indoor double loop corkscrew coaster Canyon Blaster and reach speeds up to 55 mph. Or try the twisting, turning El Loco which ascends 90 feet before dropping over and under to experience a 1.5 vertical-G. Adventuredome also offers a variety of carnival rides, games, and attractions.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes, but usual rules apply when it comes to coasters, guests must not have any heart conditions or back, neck, or shoulder injuries.
93. Play Trampoline Dodgeball
Flip N Out Extreme is the largest trampoline park in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fun for all ages this trampoline park features a variety of attractions, including trampoline dodgeball, laser tag, obstacle courses, basketball courts, and climbing. The videos I’ve seen sure look like fun.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes, but given the very physical nature of most of the attractions it may be limiting for guests with mobility issues.
94. Go Wine Tasting at the Wine Cellar and Tasting Room Rio Las Vegas
Savor some of the $3 million dollars worth of wines at one of the most impressive wine collections in the United States at Rio Las Vegas. 98. Grab an In-N-Out Burger at Linq Promenade
If you’ve been to the west coast you know the allure of In n Out Burger. As someone with a wheat allergy, I appreciate In N Out’s protein-style lettuce-wrapped burger. 99. See the Fall of Atlantis at Caesars Palace
Visit the world’s most exciting shopping mall at the Caesars Forum Shops. The Fall of Atlantis show takes place in the middle of the shops, offering special effects and fireballs with a complete animatronic display. The story is set in the kingdom of Atlantis where the king must select which of his children will rule the throne.
It’s a great place to take a rest from shopping or gambling and take in a free show.

100. Visit the Oldest Bar in Las Vegas - Atomic Liquors
Atomic Liquors in Downtown Las Vegas is the oldest bar in Vegas. Established in 1952, Atomic is open from 12 pm to 2 am daily. Offering 20 beers on tap and a variety of artisanal cocktails, Atomic is a favorite with locals.
